Waitlist Policies And Procedures

Thanks for your interest in a Snowoof Pomsky! This page explains our policies and procedures.

There is no deposit to be on our waiting list at this time (and if this changes in the future, people currently on the list will retain their places in line. We do not take deposits until puppies are born and safely gaining weight, usually a few days after birth. Birth announcements will be posted on our website and facebook page, and our waiting list will be notified that the deposit list for a litter is open 48 hours before the general public.

Once the opening of deposits is announced, people may place a deposit for the particular litter. ¬†The deposit is $500 or 1/3 of the puppy price, whichever is less, and may be paid by check, money order, or PayPal. They do not have to speak for a particular puppy at the time of deposit; choices will be made at 4 weeks in the order deposits were recieved. Deposits, once placed, are not refundable, but may be transferred to a different litter. Deposits which are transferred to another litter will automatically be placed at the top of that litter’s deposit list (unless paid deposits have already been placed, in which case it will be placed in the next available pick slot.)

Each puppy buyer will have 48 hours once the puppies reach 4 weeks of age to make their selection before moving on to the next person on the pick list. We will provide as much information as we can to help match you with a puppy, and retain the right to refund your deposit if we truly think the puppy you want to choose is a poor match. (Please be aware- this has literally never happened, but I think it’s important to protect my puppies in the event that someone falls in love with a really unsuitable puppy- for example, the shy one in a litter for a household with 6 tweens and 3 other dogs!)

The remainder of the puppy’s purchase price is due by the age of 8 weeks, including any shipping costs. ¬†Flights or shipping will not be booked until puppies are paid in full.
